I began this blog as a way to do something that I love – to write. In doing this, it is natural to want to write about the things I love or that make me happy. That’s why I write about my faith in Jesus Christ, my family, food, and even my classroom sometimes. This is a way that I can do something that I enjoy and hopefully bless someone along the way.
There are a number of costs associated with running a blog, including hosting fees, server space, and more. (Thankfully, I know a guy and if I need tech help, that’ll be free. 🙂 ) Anyway, sometimes in sharing I may share a link to an item I am using or have used. When you click on links in some of my posts, I get compensated with a small fee from the manufacturer or company. I also accept paid advertising on my blog’s sidebar and footer and use affiliate links.
My integrity has always been important to me. I will not promote something, whether offered compensation or not, that I do not feel is worthy of your time or money. Please know that this site is not influenced by money. The views expressed are mine and if I tell you something, I mean it. I will always be honest in anything I share. The things that I share with you in my blog posts are things that I use and love myself.
It is my intention to disclose this information to maintain my integrity. I hope that my readers understand that my posts come from my heart. Thank you so much for your interest in The Thankful Onion. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
